What is Projection Mapping?

Projection Mapping is a new creative medium where video projectors overlay virtual content onto physical objects. Normally projectors are used to put PowerPoint presentations onto flat screens. With Projection Mapping, projectors are used to apply magic to non-flat, everyday objects. By carefully aligning the projected virtual content with the physical objects, a stunning variety of effects can be accomplished.
